Birthdays....

are always abundant in March for us...and this week there's another four....

Here are a couple of cards, the recipiants have got them now so I feel able to show them here..

Now I wonder who this one is for?

The background is basic grey paper which I have had for ages and this is the last piece! the image is "the crafter" by stampotique which was stamped onto a piece of card which had various distress inks applied doodles around the outside framed the figure....this was then matted onto a brown piece of card, flowers and bling by prima, cosmo cricket tiny type letters and "40" from MM finish off the piece....Happy Birthday Ang!"

The second card to reach its owner yesterday!!

Background paper, Rum and Raisin by Paperartsy, the centre piece was cut from board and then painted with black acryllic then stamped onto with versamagic ink. The corners had viva ferro applied and whilst still wet stamped into them with a text stamp, when dry I dry brushed with acryllic paint. Archie in the centre has been created using ten seconds studio metal, puffed out and filled with GA's then adhered to the piece...the outside was daubed with gold.....the butterfly was covered with text paper and inked and his tail is glass effect gel from viva...loving that stuff at the mo - and a grungepaper rose with a piece of prima bling finished it off.....!! "Happy Birthday karen, have a great day!"
