Hello, hope you're all having a good week….. today its my turn over on the Tando blog and this week the theme is embossing crystals…
Here is my finished piece:-
So, the base is a large media board - these boards are great and don't buckle or twist with heat…and believe me this board had loads of heat….I initially added some grunge paste thro' a stencil (yep it is under there somewhere!! lol), I then added some stampendous frantage crystals, there is blue, black, gold and aged spice all thrown at the board in various amounts and at different stages… be careful when heating such quantities as the board becomes very hot! also the enamel is also very hot so mind fingers! inking up an old text stamp with clear ink I then stamped into the hot enamel…. I then took three stars from the grab bag of stars and added aged spice and gold crystals…. the edges were given a touch of black paint to make them stand out… the sentiment is hand written.
