mid week...

and a blog post?? lol well, I've managed to catch a dreadful cold - goodness knows where from - but, as one of the drivers where I work said (and he's Portugese) "I'm with cold" (that made me giggle sounded like Bridgit Jones...!!) and I feel total pants so have had today off! back tomorrow tho'!

So, I thought I'd catch up on some of those jobs I'm behind with...

Each month, the SCD lovely Guest Designer for the month, Chriss Rollins, organises an ATC swap, and this month the theme is Cookies - which meant, no not chocolate chip or anything else edible! it meant, doodled background, with an image and bling...

so, here are my efforts:-


the backgrounds were created using watercolour pencils, then I doodled over the top - now why is it that when on the phone I doodle like crazy, but, when I need to do so I can't? anyway, the backgrounds were doodled with black and hi-lighted with white, then the images were added and a bit of bling.... don't know what happened to the face of the girl bottom left!! all I can do is say Sorry!! lolxx

I was also lucky to win some stamps from Chriss and she asked if I'd make her an atc with them so here is that very ATC...

The stamps are gorgeous and were a prize from www.joangewaert.nl - pop on over to the website, she's got some lovely pieces! The atc - the background was created using acryllic paint, the butterfly from the set stamped over, the image and saying were stamped onto text and patterned paper and adhered with a bit of bling added.

And, coz things always come in threes, here's a card I recently made.....not really my colours but really pleased with the outcome...


I just love that stamp and the chipboard butterflies with text and bling added are another of my "things" at the moment!!

Don't forget - over at SCD we are having an ATC month and at the end of the month we're organising a swap - its still not too late to join in as its a 1/1 swap - it would be great if we had some more players!!
