So, this week at SCD its a colour week - any month which has 5 weeks will have a colour challenge or a sketch.....
Its still Postcard month, so must be 6"x4" or 4"x6" and this weeks theme is:-
TURQUOISE (or teal) and BROWN
black stamping and shading allowed, but, the main colours must be turquoise(teal) and brown

So, heres my attempt:-
The patterned paper is basic grey and the brown is plain bazzil card. The flowers are green tara (I think thats what they're called) the beaded pin was made using a head pin and various beads...the stampboard was coated with new adirondak alcohol inks and then stamped using hero arts stamps, text and lady, then highlighted.....tbh I'm not that good on this size canvas I tend to get lost on big pieces - twinchies and inchies are must more my comfort zone - but, the whole idea of SCD was to try "Something Completely Different"!!
Also, this week, we have some blog candy to give away:-
There are 12 6x6 papers from making memories and crafty individuals, mini postcards a little box with sections in which is full of lace, ribbons, stick pins, buttons, brads, charms and more!! so to be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is make your postcard, which must be solely for SCD, postcards made for multiple challenges will not qualify, pop on over to SCD and post your link and voila!! your entered. If you don't have a blog just email me here with a piccie of your postcard and I'll add it to the blog for you.
Pop on over to the SCD blog and see the gorgeous postcards the DT'rs have made!
