ummm well....
What lovely weather we are having - the weather report said that we would get rain today, but, so far no sign - and I've managed to get loads of washing done which is always a bonus.
Yesterday, Ang and I, went along to Kentford to a "Your Creative journey" day....and boy did we have fun - great crafting in a gorgeous building. We were waited on hand and foot by Matt, and Nicks gave some fab demos.....Heidi was there too and popped in from time to time, but, she was doing the jewellery class.....I didn't get to finish anything yesterday - mainly as I'm very indecisive when it comes to crafting - but, I did get some lovely ideas and picked up some gorgeous wooden blanks to alter.....When I've finished the project I'm working on I'll show you...but, for today, it remains a "WIP"...if you get a chance to attend one of these days I'd throughly recommend it...
Today, I've been finishing all the prepping for the class I'm teaching at Papermaze....its going to be a stampbord book....along these lines...
The class is being held on 23rd May at Papermaze and I believe that there are a few spare places....to those that have already booked, these books look great as a mini/brag book so bring along some photos and use those instead of the stamped images - stamps will be available on the day....
I wanted to share with you the latest set of twinchies:-
it was my turn to chose the theme this month, so "Black and White" it was - I was also very early this month.....so I have to wait to see what the other two come up with...
Hope you're all having a fab sunday

Sunday...
....so, after a lovely week, weather wise, and a gorgeous Saturday - where's the sun gone? my one day this week of catching up with housework and washing and its dull and miserable!! perhaps it will brighten up later.....
We had a FAB day yesterday. Ang, Janina, Angela, Janet, Liz, Karen and I all clambered into Ang's "bus" and off to Ally Pally we went... we all had a great day, got loads of ideas and all came away loaded with goodies and inspiration.
I also met up with my friend Claire, aka glitterface, and we had lunch, a chinwag and a show and tell session - it was really lovely to see her again....also, its her Birthday this month, and since I gave her her card and pressie and she's opened them I can show you here...
The background papers are from Basic Grey's "Ambrosia" pack, and were distressed before adhering to the inked card base, the ribbon is paper ribbon from k&co, image, obviously Daisy!!, which I stamped into a book and then ripped out - no fancy punches here!! lolxx, primas - one with a flower embellie, the other two have got shrink plastic flowers as centres which were coloured using alcohol inks and then stamped with a text stamp....little pearls, pins a rub on all finished the pieces off.....
I hope that everyone that went to Ally Pally yesterday (and boy were there some people!!) and those that go today have as much fun and laughter as we all did yesterday...Thanks for a great day girlies...xx

Birthdays...
I've got several birthdays looming this month - my friend, Val, was "xx" on Wednesday and here's the card I made for her:-
the image is Daisy by Sugar Nellie, she's a very popular girl in blogland and in publications at the mo! the background papers were sent to me by a friend as a RAK gift and they are lovely - faux stitching and distressing around the edges on all pieces, the corner is stamped in black versafine with a cheap 99p stamp, primas with flower embellies and a couple of pins complete the piece...
Thank you all for your emails regarding the closure of TYI, I'm very sad to see it go and will miss blog hopping to those blogs I might not find on my jaunts!!
Hope you're all having a fab Easter - not long to Ally Pally now...
Take care, xx

Tag you're it - the end...
....so after a big high last week for Tag You're It's Birthday - the challenge blog is now no longer! The DT have all moved onto pastures new.
I would like to say a big thank you to all of those that joined in the fun and attempted all the challenges - towards the end we had a large number of followers and regular partakers who shared their tag work with us and some of it was totally gorgeous.
I will miss my dt team members, but, I suppose in cyber world, things move on just like in "real life".
The winner of my goodie bag from last week is "Gez" with her gorgeous cupcake tag - the blue shading around the edge is just divine....Well Done Gez I'll pop your goodies in the post for you.
So, Good Bye Tag you're it.....
No piccies from me today, will catch you all later.

Happy Birthday! Tag you're it....
Yep, today Tag You're it is 1!! and wow what a year hey? to celebrate our first birthday we have several great things lined up for you taggers...
The theme this week is obviously "Happy Birthday" and each of the DT team have parcelled up a selection of goodies which will be awarded to our fav tags of the week....so, taggers, here's what I've put up for my fav tag of the week...
The prize consists of a chipboard tag book and a tag stamp (well just had to be hey?) an organza bag containing chipboard flowers, primas, jewels, brads and chains.....and perhaps a surprise or two!!
Here's my tag for the week:-
The background was white card which was then spritzed with bubblegum pink and leather glimmer mists, Happy birthday was then stamped with sepia ink....the image is paperartsy and was high lighted using my watercolour pencils, the image was mounted onto an old text page and then off set on a piece of basic grey paper. Primas one with my fav flower centre and a few pearls and a bit of ribbon were added, the edges where inked with chalk ink.
I do hope that you'll all join in this week and make it one big Happy Birthday Tag week for Tag you're it....
Pop on over to the Tag you're it blog and see what the other DT'ers have come up with and see what other goodies are on offer...
