Tag you're it - sketch week....

Grief can you believe its Friday again? we've had a busy ol' week again this week mainly due to my 18 year old not being very well and being referred to hospital for tests and now waiting for a CT scan - its not until you're in these situations that you realise "busy" is nothing! the majority of us take good health for granted don't we and these situations really bring you back to base line! She's seeing a neurologist on Monday evening so hopefully we'll be a bit further forward, she does seem a bit better today!

Friday and its means a Tag you're it new challenge. This week Anne set the theme and gave us a sketch to follow...do pop over to the Tag you're it site and see the fabbie creations submitted by the dt.

So, here's my take on the sketch:-

The tag was cut on the cricut, as was the oval, the background is cranberry and lake mist dabs! then stamped over with gold text stamp and then white paperartsy circles a gold dauber on the edges finished it off. The paper is basic grey and the image magnolia coloured in with watercolours and hi lighted with stickles...

Wow Carol - I was going to ask you what the lovely spotty paper was, I'm amazed that you stamped it yourself! Well, not really cos you're a clever lil bunny, but you know what i mean - it looks so effective!!

Have emailed you bout S., hope she's ok! xxx

I love all of the colors in your tag, so cute! The owl pictures that your DH took are amazing! I've only heard owls, but never have actually seen one perched like this in the wild. Thank you for your kind words about my tag for the TYI challenge this week!
