Altered CD

Being so highly critical of my work there's not many pieces I can actually say I like, let alone "love" - but, this piece is just so....vibrant, so bright, so unlike my usual "distressed" almost "grundgy" pieces.....but, I can honestly say "I like this!".......

The blue, almost turquoise, centre panel is "stream" distress ink with the silver mixative and stamped over, the bits cut out from around the sides have been used to make the punched swirls for the embellishments, the metal "fun" tag has been inked too, and the little flowers, are once again, remments of another inked piece......and of course, the obigatory beaded pin!! lolxx

It's gorgeous Carol!!! I've tried inking on CD's but they certainly don't come out as vibrant as this!! It's absolutely fabulous!! No wonder you're so proud, you have every reason to be! xx

I can see why you like this. The contrast between the blue and red is great!
