and this is what I did:-
all the papers are from Ambrosia by Basic grey with doodling around the edges, a few rub ons and a charm. The couple is a stampington stamp. The wedding is orange and cream based so hence my colour scheme.TFL xx
all the papers are from Ambrosia by Basic grey with doodling around the edges, a few rub ons and a charm. The couple is a stampington stamp. The wedding is orange and cream based so hence my colour scheme.
All the papers are basic grey granola - the stars were cut on the cricut and then glossy accents was added...the centre piece is a piece of stampbord which was inked with new alcohol inks and then my fav stamp was stamped on the top and hi-lighted. The inside of the card was also decorated using the granola range. The card was supposed to be entered for last weeks Saturday sketch but I was far too late!! lolx
umm what can I say?? lolxx, white card base cut into a house shape, made a mask by cutting zigzags into white paper and then inking each side seperately, inked a la T!m! overstamped with text stamp...the "dream" embellie and the flowers are made from clay and coloured with mica, the door was hand drawn (yeah I know you can tell!!) and coloured using watercolour pencils, I then coated it with glossy accents T!m's bird stamp and a rub on number finish off my home!!
All of the numbers were cut on the cricut using the black letter cart....and these were cut on co-ordinations cardstock which was then run thro' the cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder. Each set of three were then stamped and hi-lighted to make their "set" using various stamps and turquoise chalk ink which was also used to edge each white card. Each number was given its number in gems too....then I added different sayings for each number, so; 1= 1p for them, 2 = terrible twos, 3 = 3's a crowd, 4 = time 4 tea, 5 = 5 high, 6 = half a dozen, 7= lucky 7, 8= figure of 8, 9 = 9 lives and 10 = perfect 10!
Base is a piece of white card cut into a tag shape, this was then coloured using distress inks....then stamped with the harlequin stamp from Tim's visual artisty french market collection and a swirl from the same set, each was high lighted using a white pen. The heart is a wooden heart which was coloured with a dauber and then over stamped, hi lighted with white pen again, the text is from another visual artistry set and stamped on a spare piece of distressed card which I then tore and hi-lighted the edges with gold dauber, some turquoise pearls were added to finish off the heart....fibres were added to finish it all off....
Wanted to try a different take on the theme and there it is.... it all started off as a white piece of card!! influenced by T!m's demo on acryllic resist I painted on the stripes - then inked over with distress inks....then spritzed with radiant rain irridescent gold. various stamping then followed! the star in the middle was cut on the cricut and coloured with distress inks then stamped with a little swirl stamp - the centre is another clay face - I spent the entire day Sunday making loads of shapes out of clay and cooking them, or letting them air dry now I have loads to use!! bit of white hi-lighting and a few gems finished it all off.....
