Rainbow

Hello, how are you all? hope you're all keeping well during our lockdown.  I must admit I'm getting used to working from home and being in lockdown, and working paperless - when I get back to the office my desk is going to be so much clearer lol.

Today its my turn over on the bubbly funk blog and I've created another journal page.  I'm finding it really therapeutic to do these journal pages each week.

So, here is the first rainbow

Think Positive thoughts

Good Morning on this Wednesday the start of our third week of lockdown.

How sad is our world with thousands of deaths across the globe every day, with people, mainly teenagers, not taking heed of the lockdown, which will delay us getting back to normal.  So many of us working from home, families not being able to see each other - thank goodness for technology  - FaceTime and messaging…. We've been FaceTiming our son, Josh, who lives in Japan, for the last 3 years, although I must say at the moment it is a worry with him being over there on his own.

Anyway, today, its my turn over on the Bubbly Funk Blog and my theme this week is:—

yep - stay positive - concentrate on the good! the people who have recovered.  The fact our families are safe.

Wednesday again, the weeks seem to be flying, even tho' we are all in lockdown.

How are you all managing? I must admit we didn't stockpile and had to pop out to get supplies - will, I don't thing any of us will take anything for granted again will we?

You know when you sit at your craft desk and your mind wanders, thats what happened here…I did take this photograph… 

in case I decided to use it for my DT, but at this stage I still wasn't sure where I was going or if I'd ever show it… but, here's what I ended up with:-

Tando Colours

In this horrid time that we're living in at the moment, its nice to escape to my craft room.  To have my lovely paints, stencils, stamps, inks around me and to play.  For once, to be happy with what I've got and to create using what's to hand… Ok, I still look, but, at the moment its look only lol.

Today its my turn over on the tando blog, and as usual, the first week of the month is our colour week;Aprils colours are:-

lovely bright yellows to cheer us up… and in line with my theme for this year, here is my book and files for the 366 challenge for April.

Create Art

Hello to all my visitors on this rather strange Wednesday.

Whats happening world wide is scary isn't it, and just a little surreal.  I have never experienced empty shelves in the supermarket and to see the elderly looking so dejected, after a harrowing trip to get there too I suspect, is just heart breaking.  I for one haven't stockpiled! if we are on lock down for any period of time we will have to eek out what we have and manage on what we can get.  I can't believe the greed of some!

Anyway, a way to lighten our souls is to sit in our craft room/area and create art…

This is my project for Bubbly Funk this week - week 3 of the bee too…… pop along and see how I created it…

Hap-bee Birthday

Hello, what sad and scary times we are currently in.  With mass hysteria in the shops and businesses' closing and staff encouraged to work from home, where will it end.  I suppose the fact that China is now opening its borders to visitors gives us hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel.  However, the way that people are behaving, stock piling in a way that is selfish and totally irresponsible is shameful!

Anyway, putting all that to one side for a while.  I spent the afternoon playing with my gelli plate and make loads of prints ready to use for my projects.

The stencil was from the indigo-blu mixed media pack which can be found in the bubbly-funk shop.
