ATC...

Hi, hope you're all having a lovely Sunday.  Today is my last day off, its back to work tomorrow after a lovely, although, sicky, week off!

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to post my colour ATC for February over on the Tando Creative blog…so, using the Free for All week, it gives me another change to post…

So, the colours were:-

and this months ATC looks like this:-

the base is a Tando ATC and I've added paperartsy fresco paints, blending as I went…once dry I added blue over the top using the sequin waste stencil and added circles and lines using a polish lid and an old store card.  The same colours were using to paint the mini arrows and mini butterflies… the saying is from the wanderlust set of stamps by paperartsy.

Love and hearts…..

is this weeks theme over on the Tando Creative Blog… and I made this mixed media board as my project:-

The mixed media board is the larger of the two available and measures 74mm x 138mm.  I painted the base with ruby and magenta acrylic paints by Dana Wakely.  Then using the magenta and white paints I then stamped and stencilled over the top….when dry I added black to the edges and some doodling.  The stamped quote is a new stamp from Paperartsy, EDY18, and I can see me using this a lot!  A heart and wings from the Tando Wings and heart set were painted, doodled and the edges had some treasure gold added…..

Pink elephants

Hello…over on the Tando blog the week the theme is animals.  Tando have a great range of chipboard animals, from butterflies and the stunning owls right up to elephants!!

I used the elephant bunting kit for this project.  Within the kit you get 8 elephants and they can be used anyway you like.  For this project I used three elephants and a couple of mini flowers:-

The elephants come in three sections - the main body, an ear and an eye…. all of my elephants were painted with Paperartsy fresco paint, stamped with a crackle stamp for their wrinkles, and their eyes painted with matching colours…black and white pens were used to doodle the edges and add definition to their trunks…lol the flowers were painted with the same pink and grey paint and added in the middle of their ties…

Cards by Carol

Hi, hasn't it turned cold out there! we had our first lot of snow on Thursday, didn't amount to much and quickly disappeared but its left us in the grips of a cold wind and dropping temperatures, mind you, we shouldn't complain as it is January after all!!

Today its my turn to share my piece over on the Tando Creative blog and this week the theme has been cards:-

I started off by making a masterboard using acrylic paint and various stamps…I then cut this to fit onto a black mount and then onto a white 5 x 7 card blank.

The mini butterfly and flower with stem, from a grab bag, were then painted and doodled before being attached to the card…

As is my intention this year, I also made a matching tag and here they are together...

Happy New Year!

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a really good start to 2016!
We had Josh home for 10 days which was lovely, it was nice to have the house full and buzzing again! now its all de-christmassed and we are all back to normal tomorrow, which includes the diet

So, onto the first theme for 2016 over on the Tando Creative blog - we have decided to keep the colour themes going for 2016.. and this year I have decided to make all of mine ATC's that way I will have a wonderful page of 12 colourful ATC's - anyone fancy joining me on my journey??

I added acrylic paint to the base in two tones of grey, a dark blue  and a dirty orange/yellow colour.  Once dry I added some stencilling using the mini mask… the starts and music were painted using the same paints and a coating of distress paint in rocky road added…some doodling and Tim Holtz typed stickers finished it off…
