There is a new challenge blog on block and its called:-
Vanilla Sugar
and I've been selected for the DT. The concept of the blog is to create home decor items, which will be very different from my usual art, but, a lovely challenge all the same. The challenges will run monthly so giving everyone loads of time to take part and join in the fun!

Coasters
Heres my effort:-

The background is a piece of chipboard to which a piece of sheet music, which had been coloured using distress inks and spritzed with glimmer mist, had been adhered. The clock is one of Sir T!m's and the text was created using some alphabet stamps. Mr Bunny checking his watch to ensure that it is indeed time for tea is from an Alice in Wonderland plate - he was then coloured in using watercolour pencils and hi-lighted with a white pen. The coffee mark is a new stamp in at Bubbly Funk and was stamped using sepia versafine ink. The coaster was edged with chalk ink and then a couple of layers of varnish added to protect it whilst in use....
Hope that you will pop along to the new blog and see the fab coasters created by the other DT members and have a go....
