Flight….

Hello, what a blustery day out there today… I've just popped to the shop and its mayhem with rubbish flying everywhere.  The river has broken its bank flooding the neighbouring fields.  We are lucky that we haven't got it as bad as some, and my heart goes out to those that have lost their homes and sentimental possessions… 

Today its my turn to post over on the Tando blog.  The theme this week has been "flight" and I decided that my project will be one of the large Tando tags:-

The base was painted with acrylic paint and then stencilled using my favourite bubbles stencil.  Some paint doodling and stamping was also added.

The butterflies and funky bird are from the mini sets that come in a large tag…loads of elements at a great price.

Di is at Hochanda tomorrow with some fabulous new products, and as usual the DT have all added their style to them, don't forget to check in….

Wet and Windy Sunday

Hello!

How are you all this very wet and Windy Sunday morning?  I've had a right 10-14 days of it - absolutely full of a cold which actually laid me flat for two days, and off work, which is unheard off! still don't feel much better, which is why I'm so very far behind posting my DT pieces this week.

So, Sunday is Carol day on both Tando creative and Bubbly Funk blogs.

Using on of the large distress Tando hearts I've interpreted this weeks "texture" theme slightly different to my teamies……

a page in my white Dylusions journal, love this white space, using Paperartsy paints, Tim Holtz paper doll and butterfly and sarky comment lol….Aall Create stamp set #15 and some doodling..

Tando Creative colour week

Hello, February Colour week over on the Tando blog this week and I'm bringing the week to a close.

The colour palette has been:-

This year I'm using the outer folders from the 366 challenge for my month colour themes…so, this month, I have decorated my outer file in the monthly colours and the inner files for the monthly theme…..which is "Golden"

So here's my take:-

Unlike last month I am going to do my monthly innies and then fit the files together… here's the finished outer.

What horrid weather we've been having of late - its so wet and windy out there my walk home tonight was quite challenging fighting the wind.

Happy New Year!!

Hello, to those that still visit my little piece of blogland, and Happy new Year, albeit a bit late!!

Its my turn over on the Tando Creative Blog today.  This year Tando Creative are running a 366 challenge, the principal is to journal everyday and to enable us to do this, and not feel daunted by large sizes, there is a gorgeous kit available.  One kit has a unit to hold 12 mini books (can be used for other uses as well as the 366 challenge), the kit also has 12 mini books.  Each mini book can hold 4 signatures, each signature can hold a weeks journalling (a kit is available for the signatures which also has a template and cartridge paper) .  A daily prompt weekly prompt and monthly prompt, is also released on the facebook page and there is also a blog, its open to everyone and you can post your works and share with everyone.

With all of that in mind, my monthly colour posts for 2020 will be my mini books, so here is January's mini book:-
